Services:
The weekly Church bulletin is the best way to keep up with the events taking place in the parish. It is a fountain of information, so please make sure you pick one up when you come to church. It has the most up-to-date lists of all organizations and telephones. The bulletin will give you a feel of parish community life. Information that needs to be included in the bulletin needs to be turned in by 4:30 PM on Mondays to the church office to be included for that weekend. You may e-mail your requests to: nwalter@samc-kyle.org.
Keep Informed: Did you forget to pick up, or misplace your weekly bulletin? No problem, we have the solution. You can sign up to start receiving your bulletin by email, at CatholicWeb.com, or just pull the PDF file from there. Another option, Our own, Deacon John Lawrence, produces a talking version of your weekly bulletin, as well as daily scriptures and much, much more. The site is built to be used by the blind or anyone who has difficulty reading, but is just as informative for the sighted. Go to KyleCatholic.com to check it out. The site provides more than one hour per day of downloadable mp3 files containing the Daily Mass Scriptural Readings and the daily prayers and readings of the Divine Office which many sighted listeners put on their ipods when exercising, driving or just praying and meditating. The site also is fabulous in its ability to provide great comfort to the homebound and those hospitalized as well. It's easy to use, and a great way to hear the word of God!
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
The Church teaches us that the most effective prayer is prayer in the Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Each time you go to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, you touch His Heart with your faith. Each Holy Hour you make in the Presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament releases His power and graces upon you, your family, your parish, your diocese and the world. A partial indulgence is granted the Christian faithful when they visit the Blessed Sacrament for the purpose of adoration. When this is done for at least half an hour, it is a plenary indulgence.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is every Friday in the chapel. It begins with Mass or Eucharistic Service at 8:00 AM followed by adoration until Saturday at 8:00 AM.
On Saturday & Sunday the rosary is prayed before each Mass. Call the church office if you would like to lead a rosary. Learn to Pray the rosary by downloading the following rosary sheet.
If a death occurs in the family, please contact the parish priest to inform him of the death. Also, the family needs to contact a funeral director to arrange, together with the family and the church, the times and places for the wake/rosary and the liturgy. The funeral director will then contact the Church to finalize the arrangements.
All young ladies in our parish are welcomed and invited to celebrate their 15th birthday with a special Mass of consecration, thanks, and dedication. The Mass will be offered as a parish celebration for a group, rather than for an individual. You will need to contact the parish office at least six months in advance. The young lady must have been Confirmed or be currently enrolled in religious education classes plus active in youth activities / religious education classes during the past six months and be currently enrolled. If already Confirmed, she must continue to participate in Religious Education Classes or the Youth Group. The first step is a meeting between the coordinator and the young lady to find out when the Quinceañera Masses are scheduled and to go over all the requirements necessary for this celebration.
Plans should not be finalized until the family meets with the event coordinator.
The next step is for the young lady to attend a series of Quinceañera preparation classes. The classes help the young lady understand what it means to have a Quinceañera---the religious, family, and community implications. Finally, specific information is shared on planning for the celebration. For more information about the classes or registration, call the church office.

Spanish Charismatic Group – Caminando con Jesus y Maria
This group is for the entire family, both adults and children. Each meeting starts with praises, then participants break out by age groups for evangelization. Gatherings are held in Spanish.
Bible Study is encouraged. Through study of the Word, parishioners can deepen their knowledge and love of the Lord. Bible Study classes are now meeting Saturday mornings at 8:30 AM (Men - classroom 8; women - classroom 7). The Spanish Bible Study (Movimiento Familiar Cristiano) meets as scheduled. Contact the church office for more information.
Movimiento Familiar Cristiano (Christian Family Movement)
This organization promotes Christ at the center of marriage and family life; helps individuals and families to live a life of faith every day, and improves society through acts of love, service, teaching and example. This group meets every month to discuss how to live a Christian life on a daily basis.
Upper Room Prayer Group (English Prayer Group)
Parishioners involved in this ministry intercede for those individuals who are suffering or have any need for prayers by taking time to pray for them. This group meets Tuesday evenings at the Holy Family House at 7:30 PM. In addition, names of those needing prayer are included in the bulletin for two weeks and then transferred to a list that is kept on the church altar. For prayer requests, call the church office or e-mail your request to: office@samc-kyle.org
